Too much nudity: Instagram deletes controversial singer Maheeda’s account

Have you been keeping up with the infamous gospel singer Maheeda who takes delight sharing her nude pictures on instagram? Yesterday was the height of it as Maheeda put up some really nude photos of herself ‘for her fans’ to see.

In one of the images, one of her male fans was stroking himself while going through her pictures and Maheeda referred to the picture of the fan as one ‘worshipping at her church on Sunday’.

Earlier today Instagram was forced to shut down her account as she had clearly breached its laws and regulations which insists that nudity is not permitted on the website.

Well,she has opened a new account though and you can bet that she’s already shared some crazy pictures on it already

D’banj disappoints Zimbabweans……Gets booed off stage

Now this doesn’t look too good. Kokomaster Dbanj was supposed to take over Zimbabwe as the main act last weekend at the Lion Lager Summer Beer Festival dubbed the “Battle of Africa” but according to reports from Zimbabwe, his performance was so unimpressive that he was eventually booed off stage.

According to a report by AllAfrica, the festival featured Ugandan reggae musician Bebe Cool and local dancehall artistes Winky D, Guspy Warrior and King Shaddy. D’Banj represented West Africa while Bebe Cool represented East Africa.D’Banj was the main attraction and when it was turn for him to perform, he exploded onto the stageamid pomp and zest but soon fizzled out and slumped into near- pornography with some fans.He ran out of steam after exhausting his familiar songs in less than an hour and went into what many revelers described as “hogwash”.His opening song was “Fall in Love”, followed by “Oliver Twist”, “Kukere” remix, “Don’t Tell Me Nonsense”, “Igwe” and “Why Me”. Then he lost the plot.Neither his scantily dressed dancers nor his swag was enough to sway the majority of the crowd that became visibly restless and disappointed.So disappointing was his performance that he resorted to X-rated antics with ladies he calls “Kokolates” on the stage, in a bid to kill time.Among the “Kokolates” was songstress Ammara Brown, who jumped on stage and joined in the dirty dancing.“Let me see all my Kokolates on stage, now shake your boom boom and do the catwalk,” he said, amid boos from the crowd, especially men.Some disgruntled fans hurled insults and obscenities.D’banj failed to impress and was the opposite of the Nigerian twins P-Square who performed at the same festival last year and left fans asking for more.P-Square were even barred from leaving the stage by fans who craved for more.“This guy should not have been the main act at the show. He has a few hit songs we know that he has performed. Now look at how he is whiling up the remaining time with the ladies,” said a fan in the crowd.

  Superstar Iyanya yesterday celebrated his 27th birthday and marked it with a visit to Ikoyi Prisons. Iyanya was welcomed warmly by the DCP Bamidele and the community; he proceeded into the correctional facility where he spoke with the inmates.
  Highlights of the visit included his performance with the talented intimates; Iyanya also pledged to build a recording studio in the establishment for the musically inclined inmates.

For the first time ever, Kim Kardashian who has been married twice before and never changed her name is now deciding to change her name after her wedding to Kanye West.
Kim, 33, got engaged to her baby’s daddy Kanye, 36, last week and already they are making plans for their big day which will happen next summer.
In a chat with E! News, when Kim was asked whether she was going to take Kanye’s surname, Kim said: “Yeah, I will. It’ll be Kim Kardashian West.”
Kim went on to reveal that the decision is largely down to wanting to feel connected as a family, after she and Kanye became parents to baby North West in June.
The decision to change her name certainly shows Kim’s commitment to the relationship, but there are concerns that this may cause family drama.

US Senator Ted Cruz apologizes to Nigerians for his offensive ‘ Obamacare-scammers’ remark

A week ago US Republican Senator Ted Cruz in a rally said that Nigerian email scammers have been hired to run the Obamacare website. This comment was found offensive by some people especially Nigerians. After series of criticism from Nigerians in Houston and across the US, the office of the Senator has issued a statement from Ted Cruz apologizing for what he said.

Wedding of the century? Kanye West planning big wedding next summer…there will be fighter jets!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be having a really extravagant wedding that will take place next summer. Having proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday after taking over San Francisco’s AT&T Park baseball stadium last week (21 Oct13) Kanye insists their nuptials will be an even bigger event, including “fighter jets”.

Appearing on Los Angeles radio show Big Boy Neighborhood on Monday (28 Oct13), West quipped, “I gotta apologize to the race of males for turning it up so much.” But he confesses that not everything went to plan when he got down on bended knee and asked Kardashian to be his bride. He said “They didn’t have the lights exactly how I wanted them to be.”

He also addressed reports suggesting the big proposal was staged for his fiancée’s reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians -and that she picked out the ring he ‘surprised’ her with, adding, “Kim knew I was eventually going to ask her to marry me. I just had to get that ring right. I worked with four different jewelers. Three rings were made and only one actually hit the finger.I actually changed the ring the night before. That ring was less than four hours old when I gave it to her.
I wanted to marry that girl from the first time I saw her. I just had to wait through a bunch of relationships to finally get my chance… It’s just patience. You know with certain things, you’re like, ‘Yo, this is what’s right for me, and this is what I should be doing’. And you gotta be patient.”

Chris Brown enters rehab

Chris Brown has checked himself into rehab to ”gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior” after being arrested for allegedly assaulting a man outside a hotel over the weekend.

The 24-year-old singer – who was arrested for assault after allegedly punching a man outside a hotel on Sunday has decided to seek help following his recent troubles by checking into a treatment facility yesterday.

Chris’ representative told E! News: ”Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”

The news comes just days after the ‘Forever’ singer was arrested, along with his bodyguard, in Washington, DC, after reportedly hitting a man and making a homophobic slur in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chris reportedly punched the man, breaking his nose, when the unidentified male and a friend attempted to insert themselves in a picture he was taking with two females. The star’s lawyer insists he is not guilty.

The crooner was expected to co-headline a concert with girl band Danity Kane at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday but he cancelled the gig ahead of checking into rehab.

Chris is still on probation for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, 25, in February 2009 and his latest arrest could be deemed a violation of his probation, resulting in a potential four-year prison sentence.

She began her performance at G.A.Y in a long,white petticoat-style gown, and later took off the dress in front of the audience,while waving her arms in the air.

Heidi Montag gets a breast reduction

‘Entertainment Tonight’ host Brooke Anderson that she had her breasts downsized for ”health reasons.”

Heidi who married her reality TV co-star Spencer Pratt in 2008 previously hit back at reports suggesting she regretted her cosmetic surgeries but admitted she wouldn’t recommend it.

She said: ”It could have been really disastrous. I lived and I learned, and I wouldn’t really recommend it for other people.It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it – physically, mentally, emotionally and the recovery. I’m just glad it’s done and that everything healed so well.”

However she also blamed her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, who died in a tragic car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in 2010, for her excessive procedures.
