Eiza González Faces Press Two Days After Steamy Makeout Session With Liam Hemsworth

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the 23-year-old singer-actress willingly thrust herself into the limelight, just two days after her andLiam Hemsworth's intense makeout session was caught on camera.

Wearing a simple gray and black ensemble, Eiza posed for photos at a Mexico City press conference for the DVD release of the Spanish-language version of Disney'sThe Croods. This marked the first official public engagement for the Mexican singer-actress since the news of Miley Cyrus and Liam's split broke Monday, Sept. 16.

So what's next for Eiza?

We don't know quite yet the role she'll be playing in Liam's life, but we do know she'll portray a character in the upcoming comedy flick All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen. The film's director, Adrian Cervantes, told E! News exclusively Eiza "won't play a Hispanic part, but a straight American girl" named Brittany.
